Greetings St. Joan of Arc Community!

It is a blessing to have been given the opportunity to follow God’s call as I serve St. Joan of Arc Catholic Elementary School, as its principal. I am confident that the experiences shared in my first year will guide us in making 2015-16 an even more productive and enjoyable school year. I continue to pray for God’s guidance in our decisions and for our community to rally together and build each other up for the benefit of our students. Please join us in welcoming our qualified newcomers to the St. Joan of Arc faculty and staff, all of whom will be a tremendous asset to our school. On another note, we are confident that, although we will miss those who have retired or pursued other challenges, they will continue to be with us in spirit and their imprint will remain at SJA.

Catholic education is a vocation in which our mission is to use Christian love in guiding our students in their academic, spiritual, social, and physical development. Our vision remains the same, to motivate, inspire, and propel each and every member of our school family to strive to reach their full potential. Our desire is for the administration, faculty, and staff to exhibit a commitment to excellence in their everyday performance so that students can witness living examples of what it means to give honor back to God for his many gifts. Our academic focus will continue to be on alignment of our curriculum, quality instruction, and creation of and maintenance of rigor so as to best prepare our students for the upcoming challenges of their next grade level or advancement to high school.

Parents, I encourage you to walk with us as we work with your children to guide and help them in their development. Let us never grow complacent as our world and our young people are ever changing and we are called to meet their needs in new and exciting ways.

I remain humbled to be entrusted with the care, safety, and nurturing of your children.
